Cara Connors, a native Chicagoan turned Los Angeles transplant, is a comedian and writer on the rise. In just three years, Cara has filmed two nationally televised stand up specials, most recently at this summer’s 2018 Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. She is also the creator, writer and star of two original digital series for CBC Comedy. Cara is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory in Toronto and has trained at The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade.
Cara is a regular contributing writer for CBC Comedy’s satirical news website, has performed at venues and festivals across North America and has appeared in multiple national commercials. She also hosted a popular LGBTQ-friendly weekly stand up show in Toronto called “Comedy Night at I’ll Be Seeing You.” Cara is known for her high energy, physical performances that mix irreverent characters, biting wit and absurdist takes on the struggles of modern life.
